Your cottage is nestled in Mudge Bay, just outside the charming village of Kagawong. From here, you are perfectly positioned to enjoy the quiet beauty of the North Channel while still being close to some of Manitoulin's most memorable attractions.
Stunning Location
Surrounded by the beautiful waters of Lake Huron, Manitoulin Island is the world's largest freshwater island. Known in Anishinaabemowin as Mnidoo Mnis, often translated as Spirit Island, Manitoulin is a truly unique destination shaped by water, forests, limestone cliffs, inland lakes, Indigenous culture and generations of island communities.
Discover Kagawong
Just a short drive from the cottage is the picturesque village of Kagawong, often called the Jewel of Manitoulin. The village sits where the Kagawong River flows into Mudge Bay, creating a beautiful connection between inland Manitoulin and Lake Huron.
One of Kagawong's most famous treasures is Bridal Veil Falls, a spectacular 35-foot waterfall surrounded by forest and limestone. The waterfall is fed by Lake Kagawong and tumbles through the Kagawong River before eventually reaching Mudge Bay.
